What is Interlibrary Loan (ILL)?

Interlibrary Loan allows the Library to borrow books and articles from other libraries across the country. If you see a book or article that we do not have in the collection, request it through Interlibrary Loan and we can order it from another school. We usually receive the book or article within 3-5 days, sometimes even within 24 hours. There is no charge for this service unless the book is overdue, damaged or lost.

Use ILLiad to order articles or book chapters that are delivered to your account for PDF access.

Use EZBorrow to search for and order books from other libraries in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and West Virginia.  When you submit your request, select the campus at which you intend to pick up the books. When the book arrives, an email will be sent to your SJU email address, letting you know when the book is available for pick up at the selected campus Library.
