Library Catalogs

By searching in the Library of Congress catalog, you may find the titles of relevant books and other resources. Check the SJU Library Catalog to see if SJU owns the items. If we don't, you may request the items through Interlibrary Loan or EZ Borrow

Books Library Catalog Search
  • The Library Catalog is best used when searching for a specific title or author.
  • You can search across additional fields such as ISBN or Call Number etc.
  • You can also search for specific "subjects" as defined by the Library of Congress
Use this catalog if you need to capture a permanent link to the record for a resource.

Quick Tips

The Library Catalog searches the Library collection, including books, journals, and other sources. It is a tool for locating items, but does not include the fulltext of items. If you find a book in the Catalog that you'd like to borrow, make a note of the call number and the floor where the book is located, and browse around the area for other resources on the same subject.
