SJU Library Catalog

Books Library Catalog Search
  • The Library Catalog is best used when searching for a specific title or author.
  • You can search across additional fields such as ISBN or Call Number etc.
  • You can also search for specific subjects as defined by the Library of Congress or combinations of specific keywords, such as "EDUCATION and RACE" or "HEALTH CARE and GENDER." You even may need to go broader and use keywords such as "URBAN and POVERTY."
The Library Catalog searches the Library collection, including books, journals, and other sources. It is a tool for locating items, but does not include the fulltext of itemsIf you find a book in the Catalog that you'd like to borrow, make a note of the call number and the floor where the book is located and browse around the area for other resources on the same subject.

Library of Congress Catalog

By searching in the Library of Congress, you may find the titles of relevant books and other resources. Check the SJU Library Catalog to see if we own the items. If we don't, you may request the items through Interlibrary Loan or EZ Borrow
