Call numbers tell you where a book is shelved in the Library. In Drexel Library, we use the Library of Congress (LC) Classification scheme which groups titles by subject matter. This classification system is a great way to group books together, but it is not always intuitive to the searcher. If you can not locate a book on the shelf, please ask a library staff member for help rather than leaving without the material you need. Even if we can't locate the particular title you wanted, we can probably find another just as useful.

Use WorldCat to expand your search beyond our library. You can find what books and resources are available at other libraries and then use this information to request materials through our Interlibrary Loan service.
