SJU Reads 2019 Cohort

SJU Reads 2019 was an early arrival pilot program held August 22nd and 23rd for freshmen and sophomores. This two day experiential learning opportunity addressed one of the most hot button issues in U.S. politics and society today: immigration. Facilitated by SJU faculty and student leaders, activities included compelling discussions of the selected reading, community-building, and the exploration of immigrant neighborhoods and venues in Philadelphia.
