ENG 102: Texts in Context (David Pass)

Understanding Context

Before you start searching for sources to cite in your paper, get familiar with the contexts in which a novel was written, published, and read.  Use these reference sources for an overview of the literary, social, cultural, and historical context for your focus text.  This is also a great way to get ideas for developing a paper topic, argument, or research question.
