SJU Holidays and Observances and Suggested Readings: 2024-2025

Holidays and Observances at Saint Joseph's University

As an inclusive and welcoming Jesuit institution, Saint Joseph’s University recognizes not only the major holy days of the Christian faith, but also those of Jewish, Muslim and Hindu cultures. These religions make up the four major faiths practiced by the Saint Joseph’s community. We also celebrate federal holidays or observances that align with our Jesuit traditions and values.
SJU Libraries shares selected texts and readings to encourage greater understanding of the rich and varied identities represented in our campus community. Please contact a librarian via our Ask a Librarian service if you would like assistance locating additional materials.
We also welcome your suggestions for additions to our collection: Suggestion Form
