Immigrants & Refugees: WIP: El Paso

a collection of resources on human migration, immigration, emigration, and refugees

Winter Immersion Program (WIP): El Paso

This space will include resources to support our WIP: El Paso volunteers traveling to the US-Mexico border in January 2020. From the WIP description: "Volunteer and learn about issues of social justice along the U.S. - Mexican border. In a time where tensions are high along the border, you will come together with local community members to educate yourself and stand with the marginalized. You will engage in a hands-on examination of the border region and partake in a cultural immersion in the issues that affect the lives of people living between two worlds.  Go from politicizing to humanizing an international crisis."
