Industry Supply Chain

IBISWorld has now included 1st Tier and 2nd Tier Suppliers and Buyers. There are defined by: 

  • 1st Tier: Industries that are critical to the operation of the industry. This shows industries that feed directly into the industry.

  • 2nd Tier: Shows industries that feed indirectly into the industry via the 1st Tier, i.e., who supplies the supplier or buys from the buyer.

FactSet Supply Chain Relationships

FactSet Supply Chain Relationships include customers, suppliers, and partners.

Look up your company by name or ticker

Supply Chain is in the Overview section of the company record (left menu).

In the Supply Chain Overview only the first 5 customers, suppliers, and partners will be displayed; click on each to see all relationships.

Data can be printed or downloaded.

Company 10K and EDGAR filings

The Company's 10-K (available in Mergent Online, EDGAR): Open the PDF, HTML, or Microsoft Word document and use the Find feature to search the document for the words suppl or distrib to locate mentions of suppliers and distribution.

Bloomberg's Supply Chain module

Supply Chain data includes customer, supplier, and competitive relationship to track a company's performance against peers.

Type the ticker symbol of the company and <GO>  (If you don't know type TK <GO> and company name to search for its ticker)

Type SPLC <GO>

Enter GRAB <GO> to email the screen to you as a screenshot.
