Library Pro Tips for New SJU Students

Connect Google Scholar to the Library

Google Scholar is a great alternative to using regular google searches.  If you use Google Scholar, your search experience can be enhanced to connect results directly to the SJU library's digital collections.  This can be a big time saver.  To connect Google Scholar to the SJU library, follow these steps.

  1. Go to Google Scholar
  2. Click to open the menu (three stacked horizontal lines) in the upper left
  3. Choose Settings
  4. Click on Library Links
  5. Use the search box to search for Saint Joseph's University
  6. When it appears below the search box, check the box next to Saint Joseph's University - FullText@SJU
  7. Click on Save

Now, when you search Google Scholar, you will see FullText@SJU links to the right side of some results.  Follow the links to get to the full text of these academic journal articles.
